Excellent service and delicious breakfast! Inside somewhat plain but very clean and friendly. The workers are all kind and expertly attentive. The pumpkin chocolate chip cookie was fantastic, soft and chewy. The Denver omelette was🔥🔥🤤. Must definitely visit again.

Fantastic spot for breakfast, pastries and French desserts in Oceanside. When you walk in your order at the register while looking through the pastry case. To the right is the deserts case. Coffees and lattes here our great. Highly recommend the all day bun and the ALMOND CROISSANT. It’s do good we are ours and I went up and got another one before our breakfasts were served. French toasts with sausage was great. California Benedict was fantastic as well. All the staff here are friendly and helpful. I have to say since we ordered at the counter and then we’re served everything at the table it felt like all our food came out very quickly. Thank you so much Petite Madeline, we will be back for sure

Cute, calm Cafe. Waffle was cooked perfectly, and coffee was brewed with care. Their playlist had music refreshingly harmonious with the atmosphere.

This is a really nice bakery. I stopped by to get a few sweets for a birthday celebration and I was very impressed with the slices of cake. I got the key lime tower which was my favorite! It had the gram cracker bottom and tasted amazing. We also tried the berry dessert special, as well as the strawberry passion. All 3 were delicious. The girl serving me was fast and friendly, the dining area was clean, and the coffee was on point. Definitely a nice spot to visit when passing through.

For our weekly coffee date, my wife and I enjoyed a moment at Petite Madeline Bakery. The service was quick. It felt good to receive a refill on coffee. The bakery shinned and was full of life and customers. The coffee was bold, and our tasty scone was a treat. This gem of a bakery adds to Oceanside's charm and delight. Yes, when are are in Oceanside, you may want to stop and enjoy a treat Petite Madeline Bakery.

We have been to Oceanside more than a few times. This is a MUST visit for anyone looking for the best croissants outside of France. We stayed at a hotel years ago whose restaurant featured their baked goods.

We have loved Petite Madeline for a long, long time. So when we decided to get married, we knew there was only one option for the cake and desserts at the reception. We fed everyone a huge meal and then brought out the desserts. And they were gone in a short amount of time. Everyone we talked to said, “Oh, this is so good!” I was really surprised how fast the desserts and cake got eaten after how much food everyone already ate. But it is because Petite Madeline knows how to make people happy. They know how to make good food that is not dessert, too. We eat there frequently, and we always love it. Their Benedicts are so delicious. Their Greek bowl is incredible. Their waffles are tasty. Their coffee is perfect. Their tea is excellent. My only problems with Petite Madeline are that they don't have a location right next door to me and they aren't open 24 hours.

We recently visited Kettle on Coast, and it did not disappoint! I was especially excited about the menu—usually, to find something this unique and high quality, you have to drive all the way into San Diego. Having this in our own backyard is amazing! 🤩 My daughter was so excited for breakfast but couldn’t decide between the pancakes or French toast… so we got both (of course!), along with the Turkish eggs. Everything was incredible—we cleaned our plates! The chef has created a beautiful, thoughtful menu. And for those who loved Petite Madeleine, no need to worry—they kept the same bakers, so all the desserts and pastries we know and love are still just as delicious. 🙌🏽 The baristas are top-notch and truly know how to craft quality coffee. The service was just as impressive—my 9-year-old daughter felt so special. They took the time to answer her questions and offer recommendations, which meant a lot. When we finished, I asked her if she enjoyed it, and she said, “When can we come back for lunch?” That pretty much says it all! You can tell the owner is building something really special—very family-oriented and community-focused. After hearing about how involved his other locations are, I’m excited to see what he brings to Oceanside. We will definitely be back!

We’ve been here multiple times for breakfast and it’s still one of our favorite places! The iced latte with almond milk is my go to coffee. The cheese danish, strawberry danish, regular croissant, and ham/cheese croissant are to die for. We love simple pastries so these are our go to choices but they also have a variety of other options to choose from. The staff is friendly, the bathrooms are clean, and the vibes are calming. You walk in, order at the counter, then find a table and they bring your order to you. I like the setup of grabbing your own silverware, water cup, and napkins - it helps keep down waste and needing to wash unused items. We are repeat customers and will be back again! Thank you!
